Sydney Fish Market Greenhouse Certified!
Key Lessons of Credible Carbon Reporting
Environmental Product Certification
Auditing Antarctica

Australian corporations now face a paradigm shift brought on by changing policies to deal with climate change. How prepared are businesses for a carbon-constrained future, a carbon tax or an emissions trading scheme? Will companies thrive, or survive, if carbon pricing emerges?

NCS International is conducting an industry survey into current Australian corporate practices and aspirations concerning environmental sustainability and climate change to better understand business preparedness for emerging changes. You’re invited to participate and share your thoughts in this brief industry survey.

Sydney Fish Market, the largest wholesale seafood market in the Southern Hemisphere, recently became the first Australian food-sector company to achieve certification of its 2009/2010 Greenhouse emissions report to the International Standard for Corporate Greenhouse Reporting - ISO 14064-1:2006.

Antarctica is a special place, a vast untouched frozen wilderness. The Australian Antarctic Division (AAD), part of the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities, is responsible for supporting scientific research in the area, maintaining Australia's commitment to the Antarctic Treaty Program, and acting as Australia's presence in the region.

NCSI has audited the AAD since 2004. One reason they were chosen for this special responsibility is that they were the only organisation that would commit to sending an auditor to physically observe the Antarctic locations...
