SQF 1000/2000 Codes are administered by the SQF Institute, a Division of Food Marketing Institute in the United States and are applicable to primary producers (SQF 1000) and food manufacturing and food distribution (SQF 2000). EUREPGAP is the European Retailers (EUREP) standard for Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), which encourages the adoption of commercially viable farm assurance schemes that promote sustainable agriculture and the minimisation of agrochemical inputs. Certification to the EUREPGAP Fruit and Vegetable Protocol is required by many primary producers (growers) who sell fruit and vegetables into European retailers, or to South East Asia. ISO 22000 Food safety management systems are suited to businesses which require international recognition of their food safety management system It is an international standard that specifies the requirements for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) food safety management systems in organisations involved in the production, processing, transport or distribution of food products.
NCSI HACCP Certification Criteria- NCS International has developed HACCP criteria for domestic food producers, manufacturers and food service organisations that need to demonstrate to their suppliers and customers that they have implemented a system of food safety hazard controls based on the principles and practice outlined in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) System and Guidelines for its Application, issued by the Codex Alimentarius Commission.
FPA-SAFE is the initiative of the US-based Food Products Association (FPA - formerly National Food Processors Association). Standing for “Supplier Audits for Food Excellence” SAFE is a voluntary program for conducting audits of suppliers of food ingredients, packaging and co-manufacturing.
