HACCPtown 2009 Awards: NCS International yields the cream of the crop for the third year in a row!
At the recent 16th Annual Australian HACCP Conference Awards in Sydney, organisations and individuals were recognised for their expertise in and dedication to the food safety field. The organisations and individuals who won on the night demonstrated the highest level of quality and skill in their particular category.
One of the outstanding winners on the night was NCS International’s (NCSI) Food Safety Auditor Stephanie Vincent. Stephanie was recognised for her wealth of experience and reputation in the food industry as the winner for outstanding individual working as a registered food safety auditor. Stephanie is the third consecutive NCSI Food Safety Auditor to win this award at the Australian HACCP Conference Awards, with Aron Malcolm in 2008 and Gary Kennedy in 2007.
Stephanie has worked in the food industry all her professional life and has excelled in a number of different positions in the food safety field in both Australia and New Zealand. Running her own consulting business and working as an Auditor for NCSI, Stephanie has serviced some of the biggest organisations in the food industry. Her dedication to food safety is truly commendable.
This win, confirmed NCSI’s position in the food safety auditing field as technical leaders and complemented NCSI’s win in the HACCPtown Conference Great ‘Triangular’ Debate earlier on in the conference, a debate where NCSI’s Food Division Manager, Majella Furey and Stephanie both defended the validity of third party audits in the preservation of food safety.
All NCSI staff would like to congratulate Stephanie on her achievement and look forward to making it four times in a row at the HACCPtown Conference in 2010.
