New ISO 9001:2008 Self Assessment Checklist

NCS International (NCSI) this week releases the new Self Assessment Checklist for AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008. This document restates the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 for Quality Management Systems (QMS) and has been developed to assist NCSI and its clients in the assessment of quality management systems for compliance with ISO 9001:2008.

With the release of the new version of the ISO 9001 standard earlier this year NCSI has documented the changes to the previous version and created this document in an effort to demystify the conversion process from ISO 9001:2000 to 2008.

This checklist presents the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 as questions and can be used as an effective tool for implementing the quality management system and for self-assessment of the system.
