Course Overview

This course is based around ISO19011:2002 which is the standard upon which RABQSA developed its competencies for auditor and lead auditor registration. The principles and practices contained in this three day course apply to Quality, Environmental, Safety, Food Safety and Integrated Management Systems. It covers:

  • The understanding and implementation of auditing principles and methodology, including the development and management of audit programs
  • Planning, conducting, reporting and following up an audit and relevant personnel
  • Interpersonal and communication skills required of auditors and audit team leaders

Competency Outcomes & Associated courses

Participants who submit their class activities for assessment on successful completion will be issued with a Certificate of Attainment covering the following competencies under the RABQSA framework:

RABQSA-AU - Management Systems Auditor
RABQSA- TL – Management Systems Auditor Team Leader

The following units from the National Training Framework are also available for participants who;

  • Provide evidence of having previously completed an RABQSA approved standards course (eg, Quality / Safety / Environment / Food Management Systems), completed within the last 2 years (otherwise further evidence may be required that your skills/knowledge are current).
  • Successfully complete all assessments tasks from this course plus the additional take-home assessment tasks required to cover all criteria of the below units (approx 4-6 hours work).
  • Nominate this requirement in your registration process to add the additional $150 assessment and certification fee. If you require this fee to be added to your invoice you must tick the box in your registration process. Due to the small nature of the assessment fee, later requests will be accepted but must then be paid by Credit Card only.
