| SQF The SQF Program (Safe, Quality Food) is one of the world’s leading food safety and quality management systems, and is designed to meet the needs of retailers and suppliers worldwide. The Program provides independent certification that a product, process or service complies with international and domestic food safety regulations and enables a food supplier to give assurances that food has been produced, prepared and handled according to the highest possible standards. NCSI is an SQF Institute (SQFi) licensed (approved) certification body to deliver assessments against SQF 1000 and SQF 2000. NCSI is a recognised leader and provider of SQF certification in the USA and Australian markets. In Australia the leading supermarket retailer, Coles Group Limited (Coles), will only permit house-brand products in store that meet their Coles SQF criteria. Importantly, NCSI is recognised by Coles to deliver audits against this code of practice. In the USA, the leading retailer, Wal-Mart, has recognised NCSI as an approved certification body for its house-brand products.
