Introduction and who should attend This course provides participants with the knowledge of the BRC Global Standard – Food Issue 5. This one day course is designed for: People who are currently certified to the BRC Global Standard Issue 4 and want more information on the changes in the Issue 5; People wanting to implement a BRC – Food System.
Course outline The Introduction to BRC Global Standard Issue 5 course includes an explanation of the content of the Standard, with special emphasis on variations from Issue 4.

- Previous knowledge
An understanding and working knowledge of quality / food safety management systems within the relevant manufacturing / processing environment would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Course outcomes On completion of the course participants will be issued with a: Certificate of Attendance in Introduction to BRC Issue 5 The knowledge gained will allow the participant to formally develop and implement a documented system to comply with the Standard's requirements. Note All participants will benefit from their own copy of the BRC Global Standard – Food (Issue 5) at the course.
