Interested in opening up new opportunities for your business? NCS International is hosting a series of specialty food safety workshops to help businesses tap into new industry areas and expand both domestically and internationally. The first workshop will focus on Ethical Trading, Organic and Halal.

Introduction and who should attend

This breakfast workshop provides an insight into new market opportunities for businesses in the food industry. In this workshop we will discuss three emerging areas in the food industry; Ethical Trading, Organic and Halal, and how your business can take advantage of these to increase your market share.

All stakeholders in the food industry will benefit from this workshop as it is an opportunity to hear information from industry experts on how to take advantage of these the new market opportunities. Delegates who are welcome to attend include Food Safety Managers, top management, internal auditors and anyone involved in the management of food products.
 
 
Course objectives 

This workshop has been developed with the intention to provide a clear understanding of what is involved in these areas, and how they can be employed to grow your business. As it is only a two hour workshop, with the opportunity for delegates to ask questions from a panel of experts at its conclusion, the workshop will provide a broad outline on each topic, explaining how your business can integrate them into your current systems.  

On completion of the breakfast workshop delegates will have an understanding of:

• The size of the area, the market and the opportunities (domestic and international)
• What standards, guidelines and regulations are applicable and where they can access them from
• How a business can document and implement these into their procedures
• How are they audited
• And the benefits

As all businesses are experiencing a tumultuous time in relation to the current economical situation in Australia and the western world, it is important now more than ever to keep current and in demand. Through these workshops NCS International aims at breaking down these emerging areas and providing a clear outline on how businesses can tap in.
