AS/NZS ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas Verification
ISO 14064-1:2006 specifies principles and requirements at the organisation level for quantification and reporting of greehouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals. It includes requirements for the design, development, management, reporting and verification of an organization's GHG inventory.
Under the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) Act 2007 if your organisation exceeds specified corporate group reporting thresholds, it must register for, and meet, new mandatory energy reporting requirements.
Reporting obligations cover facilities under a corporation’s operational control in the areas of:
- Greenhouse gas emissions;
- Energy production; and
- Energy consumption.
