Introduction and who should attend
This two day training course is designed for:
- auditors and lead auditors who are required to conduct assessments and audits of environmental management systems based on AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004;
- people who are responsible for developing and implementing environmental management systems based on AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004.
Delegates will be issued with copies of the AS/NZS ISO 14001 Standard for use during the course. However, to complete the assessment activities delegates will need access to their own copy of the Standard. Hard copies can be purchased during the enrolment process for delivery during the course.

Course outline
The Environmental Management Systems course covers:
- the requirements of ISO 14001:2004;
- application of environmental legislation;
- identifying and evaluating the significance of environmental aspects;
- documentation and record requirements;
The course includes a number of activities that are used to assess the competence of participants against the RABQSA International competency requirements.
Course certification
NCSI Pty Limited is certified under the RABQSA International Training Provider Examination Certification Scheme (TPECS) to provide training and examination of competency for environmental management system auditors. Certified Training Provider No.013841
Course outcomes
On successful completion of this course, participants will be issued with a Certificate of Attainment covering the following competencies under the RABQSA International TPECS:
RABQSA – EM Environmental Management Systems
This certificate enables successful candidates to apply to RABQSA International for certification as a provisional auditor when combined with competencies RABQSA-AU and RABQSA-TL.
