There are six standards with direct application to the sevices, trades and hospitality industries.
The standards and programs below are of particular relevence to any business in the services, trades or hospitality sectors. You can get further information on certification to these standards, or request a quote .

ISO 9001 – Quality
Globally, the service economy is the most competitive, employs the most people, and is the fastest growing. Whether you are a Small/medium Enterprise (SME) possibly working from home, a trade supplier, tourism or hospitality business, or other professional services provider, the ISO 9001 quality standard can help your business. Advantages of quality certification include reduction of commercial risk, increased focus on customer service, more streamlined and efficient processes, and increased customer confidence.

ISO 14001 – Environment
Implementing a recognised environmental management system (EMS) can give your organisation a market edge through promotion as a responsible corporate citizen, as well as saving money through waste reduction and energy savings. An ISO 14001 management system provides a framework for effectively improving environmental performance and minimizing legal exposure, as well as helping to improve communications throughout your enterprise and supply chain.

AS 4801 – Safety
Services and trade businesses often have particular safety risks. These include staff working alone or unsupervised, and staff working with potentially hazardous tools and equipment - sometimes in unfamiliar customer premises. A certified safety management system to AS 4801 or SafetyMap principles can enhance safety awareness; reduce accident costs, and winning employee and customer confidence.

ISO 20252- Market Research
This is an industry developed standard derived from ISO 9001, which meets the specific needs of the market research industry.

Supply Chain Programs
NCSI can develop specialist supply chain program for you, for example- The Sydney Water Constructor Recognition Scheme, it provides constructors with a third- party statement of compliance that affirms that the constructor meets the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Standard in relation to Sydney Water Projects.

NCSI's exclusive Q-Cert programs offer smaller & medium enterprises (SMEs) a means to achieve an Australasian recognised third party certification (ISO 9001: 2000) commensurate with your company needs, and the needs of customers. The costs for the small business certifications are significantly less than ISO 9001.
